Education Savings Account

Coverdell Education Savings Account
This is a tax-deferred account that lets you save money for your child’s education expenses. Your savings may be applied to elementary or secondary school expenses, or to help cover the cost of a college education. When used for educational purposes, the earnings are tax-free. Qualified distributions are tax-free. You have the option to open a regular Coverdell Savings Account or Certificate.

NCUA (Federally) Insured
Your funds are safe with us. While banks are insured through the FDIC, Credit Unions are federally insured through the NCUA. The NCUA will cover retirement accounts up to $250,000. This is in addition to the $250,000 that the NCUA already covers for other types of accounts. Visit NCUA.gov for more information.
